The Bible

We believe the Bible to be without error. The Bible reveals who God is, the spiritual separation of man from God, the way of salvation, and how to have a personal relationship with God.

(II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21)

Trinity

We believe the one true God reveals Himself in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three are co-eternal, co-powerful, and co-equal.

(I John 5:7, Colossians 1:15-17, Matthew 3:16-17, Ephesians 1:3-14, John 1:1-5)

God (The Father)

We believe that God the father is responsible for the creation of the universe and judging mankind of its sin. The Father also sent his son. Jesus Christ, to liberate man of that sin.

(1 Corinthians 8:6, Matthew 23:9, Ephesians 1:3, James 1:16-18, John 14:9-11, 1 Peter 1:3, John 3:16)

Jesus Christ (The Son)

We believe that Jesus Christ is God in flesh, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins and rose three days later. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father as our Advocate and Savior and we eagerly await his return.

(John 1:1-5, Gen 3:14-20, Luke 4:16-22, Romans 1:2-3, Matthew 1:20, Philippians 2:6-8, Mark 16:1-8, Hebrews 1:1-4, I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Matthew 24:29-31, Mark 13:32-36)

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit’s purpose is to convict people of sin, guide them in truth and bring praise to Jesus Christ.

(John 14:16-31, John 16:12-15, 1 Corinthians 2:10-16, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21)

Heaven & Hell

We believe that there are two possible destinations after death. We believe that those who accept the salvation of Jesus Christ will go to Heaven and those who reject Him will be separated from the Lord forever in Hell.

(Rev. 20:10-15)

 Sin

We believe that sin is anything we think, say or do that disobeys the Bible. A person’s sin results in a broken relationship with God and with other people.

(Genesis 1-3, Romans 5:12-21)

The Church

We believe that the true church comprises all who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Christ alone. They are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head.

We believe the purpose of the church is to love God, love others and selflessly serve others.

(Romans 3:21-26, John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 12)

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift from God when we place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. This gift is given when we are truly sorry for our sins and believe Jesus died for us on the cross.

(Ephesians 2:1-10; Titus 3:3-8)

Christian Living

A genuine Christian who is saved by the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ will desire a deeper relationship with God and other Christians, a deeper knowledge of the Bible and a lifestyle that reflects Christ.

(Colossians 3, Matthew 22:37-40, Ephesians 6:10-18, Matthew 28:18-20)

Baptism

Baptism is an outward expression of your relationship with Jesus Christ; a symbol to others that you belong to God and have chosen to serve him.

(Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 6:3-4)

Communion

We believe that Communion is symbolic in Christ’s body being broken and blood being shed for us. We believe Communion serves as an important reminder that without Jesus’ willingness to lose his life on the cross, we would still be slaves to sin.

(Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:15-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
