Mike Blake helps teach the Bible to elderly church members and makes sure their needs are met.

Education has been a primary focus of Mike's life. He began his career in 1983 and has served both public and private Christian schools. Mike is now retired, but still enjoys teaching in a church setting and through music.

Mike also serves as a substitue pastor for area churches. He says stepping into another pastor's shoes can be difficult, having to learn to minister to so many different needs. However, he enjoys preaching the Bible and the opportunity to help other churches.

Mike and his wife, Susan, reside in Glenburn, ME. Their son, Steven, is an engineer at Bath Iron Works. Steven and Megan have two children, Emerson and Cecilia. Mike would consider more than 30 years of marriage to his wife, the opportunity to baptize his son and enjoying his grandchildren some of the many highlights of his life, in addition to serving the church.
