Nick Cornwell grew up in Irving, TX with a love for sports and desire to work with youth. He felt called to youth ministry in high school and pursued that through becoming a teacher and coach. While in school at the University of North Texas, he met his wife Megan and they started praying about moving to Maine.
After graduating in 2008 he became a long-term substitute for a life science teacher at First Baptist Academy in Dallas, TX and has been in the classroom ever since. He has taught middle school and high school science in private school and public school, from downtown Dallas to rural Maine and coached many sports along the way.
Nick has been a member of Crosspoint Church since 2013 and has taught high school science at Bangor Christian Schools for 11 years. He is a committed husband to Megan and dad to three beautiful girls Bella, Emmy, and Hadley.
Nick loves building relationships with students and modeling what a genuine relationship with Jesus looks like. He enjoys time with his family, camping, being outside, exercising, sports and any type of competition.
