John Kasten, LCPC
John Kasten is a licensed clinical professional counselor with a counseling practice that has been located at Crosspoint Church since 1999. The practice is called Grace Christian Counseling. He sees individuals and couples who want assistance in applying God’s Word to their personal and relational challenges.  John holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree, a Master of Psychology degree and a Master of Public Health degree and he and has earned a substantial number of Bible college hours. His occupational experiences include various inpatient and outpatient settings and his practice as a Christian counselor since 1981.  John and his wife, Marjorie, have been happily married since 1970 and live here in Bangor.

Gary Turgeon, LCPC
Gary Turgeon is a licensed clinical professional counselor and opened his own practice, New Life Behavioral Healthcare and Counseling, at Crosspoint Church in 2015. He is very passionate about helping people find answers, work through their problems and see them grow as individuals.  Gary received a Master of Professional Counseling degree from Liberty University in 2009 where he studied professional counseling and marriage and family therapy. He was trained at Cornerstone Behavioral Healthcare in Waterville and later worked at Cornerstone Behavioral Healthcare in Bangor after receiving his licensure to practice as a professional counselor.  Gary enjoys working with a variety of people and has been privileged to work with a team of colleagues that are supportive and offer help. His current client base ranges from young children to elderly adults.  Gary and his wife, Rosemary, have two sons and a daughter who are all married and are raising families of their own.
