Good afternoon, Crosspoint!
This Sunday will be our 31 st and final lesson in our study of 1 st Samuel. We have seen God anoint Saul as the first King of Israel. We have seen him rise and fall and ultimately live a life of bitterness, anger and rage. In chapter 28 we saw Saul receive a death sentence from Samuel after going to a medium to seek comfort and answers in his abandonment from the Lord. This Sunday we will finish up our study of 1 st Samuel by watching Samuel's promise of Saul's death come to pass. Can’t wait to see you this Sunday! |

All Upstreet kids (grades K-5th) are invited to our Nerf Night on Friday, April 19th from 6-8 pm. You are welcome to bring your own Nerf gun but please, no Rival style guns with the ball shaped bullets. A snack will be served. Grab a friend and come on out for a super fun time! On Saturday April 20th at 8am, our CPC Men’s Ministry will be hosting a breakfast for men. We will gather for food, fellowship and a brief devotion or testimony. This month we will meet in the BCS cafeteria. There is no cost, but we will have a donation bowl if you would like to give back to the Men's Ministry. We are looking forward to our Spring Women’s Conference, “What A Beautiful Name”. This event will be held on Friday, April 26th from 6-8:30 and on Saturday, April 27th from 9-12. This year we will be focusing on the names of God-learning to grow in our adoration of who He is and our knowledge of His character. We will hear women from within our church share their personal testimonies, worship together, enjoy delicious food and spend time in God’s Word. The cost for this event is $20 and all ladies ages 6th grade and up are welcomed to attend. Beginning on Sunday, April 28 th we will begin a new series on the book of Ephesians. Paul writes from a Roman prison combining doctrinal truth and practical Christianity. He challenges us to know about God and how that relates to us living out our faith. As we learn who we are in Christ, we then can begin to live a life that honors the Lord. As we transition from the book of 1 Samuel, we trust this study in the book of Ephesians will strengthen your faith doctrinally and practically. Embedded in this book is the discipline needed to develop into a true child of God. You won’t want to miss this series! |

Our Sunday Night programs (Sunday Night Nursery, Awana, Refuel and our Sunday Night Small Groups) will be wrapping up on April 28th for the summer. Sunday Nights at Crosspoint will be returning in the fall on September 8 th. Be on the lookout this summer for the new adult small groups coming in the fall! |

Praises:
- For the funds raised by Crosspoint to purchase a van for the dental ministry! Please keep our monthly gospel/dental outreaches in prayer.
- Completion of the first repainting of the radio tower. It’s been standing for 23 years and was in dire need of a protective coat of paint. Praise God for supplying the means.
Prayer Requests:
- For the upgrade and maintenance of our radio antenna and transmitter. We are anticipating the arrival of a technician who provides this type of ministry to Christian radio stations worldwide.
- For our local church to be more and more kingdom focused, locally and throughout Belize.
- For the evangelistic outreaches at schools, parks and festivals.
